QUGS is the gaming society of the University of Queensland, affiliated with the Student Union. The Society currently includes roleplayers, wargamers, boardgamers, card gamers, chess players, computer gamers, play-by-mail gamers, and more! You don't have to be a student to join: membership costs $5.00 a year, and everyone is welcome!

QUGS has a regular monthly meeting for all gamers, usually on the first Saturday of every month in Room 215, Gordon Greenwood Building (32). These meetings start at 10:00 AM and finish around 7:00 PM.
QUGS has regular weekly meetings for boardgamers (including go) on Monday evenings in Room 211, Gordon Greenwood Building (32). These meetings start at 4:00 PM and finish around 10:00 PM.
QUGS hosts a regular monthly meeting for role-playing gamers, including Living Forgotten Realms, usually on the fourth Saturday of every month in Room 215, Gordon Greenwood Building (32). These meetings start at 10:00 AM and finishing around 9:00 PM.
For those of you who aren't familiar with the University, there are maps of the Saint Lucia campus that indicate the location of these buildings. Newcomers are always welcome at all these meetings: there's usually a game or two that visitors can join in at the meeting for all gamers, and there are tutors at the go meeting for those who wish to learn how to play or to build their skills.
