Minutes of the Special General Meeting 9 May 1998

Those in attendance: Chris Abell, David Astley, Ernest Cheung, Steve Darlington, Dale Edwards, Peter Fordyce, Nicholas Frampton, Travis Hall, Brad Henry, Bruce Lin, Jeffrey Mott, Edward Pan, Fenelon Smith, John Tait, Ben Teoh, Bronwyn Walker, Matt Wilson, Lawrence Wong.

1. Meeting opened by Chairperson Peter Fordyce 12.10 PM.
2. Nominations for the position of Acting Secretary called for. Brad Henry nominated by Ernest Cheung, seconded by Dale Edwards, accepted the nomination, and elected unopposed.
3. Nominations for the position of Acting Editor called for. Ernest Cheung nominated by Brad Henry, seconded by Lawrence Wong, accepted the nomination, and elected unopposed.
4. Report given by Briscon Representative Travis Hall, and accepted unanimously.
5. David Astley and Travis Hall appointed as Briscon Representatives by the Executive.
